Rigid PCB

Single-sided PCB


Non-plated Through-hole Single-sided PCB: A simple PCB without plated through-holes. Traces are only present on one side.


Plated Through-hole Single-sided PCB: This PCB is similar to the above one but includes plated through-holes so that components can be mounted.

Double-sided PCB


Non-plated Through-hole Double-sided PCB
A double-sided PCB without plated through-holes. Connections between sides are usually made using solder bridges.


Plated Through-hole Double-sided PCB
Both sides have traces There are traces on both sides. Connections between sides are made using plated through-holes.


Silver(Carbon) Conductive Double-sided PCB
Silver or carbon conductive material is used for through-holes.

Multilayer PCB


Four-layer PCB
A multilayer PCB with four conductive layers.


Six-layer PCB
A multilayer PCB with six conductive layers.


N-layer PCB
A multilayer PCB with more than six conductive layers.


HDI PCB
A HDI PCB features microvias with a diameter less than or equal to 0.15mm, most of which are blind or buried vias. The via pad diameter is less than or equal to 0.25mm. The trace width and spacing are less than or equal to 0.075mm. The density of connection point(pad and via) reaches 130 points/in². The trace density is more than or equal to 117 lines/in².

Metal-core PCB
A metal-core PCB features a metal substrate(usually aluminum or copper) for better thermal management.


Ceramic PCB
A ceramic PCB features ceramic materials that have high thermal conductivity and reliability in high-temperature or high-frequency environments.


IC Substrate PCB
A PCB on which the chip is directly mounted using the methods of flip-chip or wire bonding.
