‘PCB2PRODUCT’ is a team from Shenzhen, China that focuses on electronics’ EMS sourcing services from a piece of PCB to a set of complete product. We are building and improving a team that is dedicated to becoming the reliable sourcing partner for foreigners who have limited accesses to the professional and cost-effective supply chain in manufacturing electronics. Our services would include but not be limited to PCB manufacture, component sourcing, programming, PCB assembly, functional testing, housing/enclosure manufacture, packaging box manufacture, manual manufacture, etc.
Founder’s Narrative: After graduation in 2016, I started a job in a PCB factory whose main business is to manufacture PCB. The reason why I chose PCB is that PCB, as the building block of all electronics, plays an important role in the electronic industry. If PCB’s quality cannot be ensured, the whole project would collapse. My work then is to develop and to communicate with foreign customers for their specific requirements of PCB manufacture. As time goes on, after stable cooperation is built, our customers asked me if I can help them purchase components to be mounted on the PCB, since they know I am in Shenzhen where nearly all components can be found in stock because of the prosperity of electronics in this city. Besides, the cost would be lower than that of components purchased on Mouser, Digikey or other authorized component distribution websites. This is because the demand for components in not only Shenzhen but also almost all other cities in China is accumulated by a group of people who have been in this industry for dozens of years. The larger the demand, the lower the cost they can get from the original factories. And what I need to do is try to get in touch with these people through my relationship network. However, this is not an easy work for me. I have to optimize the organization structure and expand the relationship network so that the supply chain can include these component partners and operate more fluently. Happily, the component partners integrated in our supply chain have performed well until now. And we are now also integrating other partners who offer services such as programming, PCB assembly, functional testing, housings/enclosures, packaging boxes, manuals and so on. Some people narrowly regard doing business as a way of making money. Actually, doing business means sharing from the start. Sharing the best thing to people who need it or to people whom we are destined to meet with good luck while making reasonable money. We try to make friends through doing business.
Statically, it is not impossible to make everything perfect, but we will improve on what we did with age. We aim at “6R”: RIGHT PRODUCT; RIGHT TIME; RIGHT QUANTITY; RIGHT QUALITY; RIGHT STATUS; RIGHT PLACE.
